Dear Wonderful Artists,
Most of you have participated in Helping Hand for Nepal’s annual fundraiser–Paintings for Nepal. Many of you have donated a painting every year since inception. We cannot thank you enough for your generous donations and support for the people of Nepal–one of the world’s poorest and least developed countries. Our humanitarian projects would not be possible without your continued support.
This year we are celebrating HHN’s 20 years of service in Nepal (1999-2019). We are also designating all funds raised in the Paintings for Nepal 2019 fundraiser will go into the HHN Medical Emergency Endowment, saving lives now and in the future. Interest from this Endowment will fund emergency lifesaving medical measures for those who cannot afford their care. Keep in mind a child’s congenital heart surgery can be done in Nepal for $1200. Sometimes the emergency measure may be as little as providing $200 for transport to get the rural/remote located patient to an urban center for treatment.
HHN remains an all-volunteer nonprofit, paying no salaries or overhead. 100% of all donations go directly to the Nepal project or designated Endowment.
Please note these dates for Paintings for Nepal 2019.
