“Hola! Carolina here, the mind and sticky hands with paper mache paste behind The Piñata Shop by Carol. I’ve craft custom piñatas in Anchorage for over 4 years, besides the regular big size piñatas, I sell finished and DIY mini piñata kits. I’ve taught mini piñata workshops at the Anchorage Museum, West High School, Loussac and Muldoon libraries and virtual ones recently due to Covid. I’m from Tabasco, Mexico (yep like the hot sauce!, no I don’t eat spicy food- but my Alaskan guy loves it). Piñatas are one of the many crafts I adore from my country and I enjoy giving an Alaskan touch to them when clients allow me! Each piñata request is a new exciting challenge since 95% of the time is a new design and style; I enjoy what I do, and hope to keep on doing it for a long time! Party on amigos!”
